Are there any?

I've had the renewal for my car insurance today and they want £525 IF I'm still in the CSMA scheme......which i'm not !

But, as I'd heard tail of Liverpool Victoria not being either as cheap as last year or not covering modified from standard cars, I thought I'd do a little online shopping.

I'm either uninsurable or they take the pi$$

My car hasn't had any power upgrades, but does look a little different now as it has tinted windows,and a few visual changes....all the sites visited stated that they would only return the vehicle to standard spec, so whats the deal

Any recommendations for a company that lives in the real world?

Elephant will only return the vehicle to standard spec, regardless of what modifications you declare.

Interesting - is it a case of "do what you want" or do you have to pay a higher premium as well?

You have to pay a higher premium as well, but they will STILL only return it to how it was before any modifications were carried out.
