On a more sensible note, it feels a bit weird not seeing them at Bathurst.

Speaking of which, have you seen that you can drive the Bathurst circuit. Unlike Monaco, you could probably do it at a decent pace as google maps suggests the roads are largely empty.

They have quite low and strictly enforced speed limits to prevent the would-be racers from getting carried away and stacking it every weekend.

I did it earlier this year when on holiday over there. Only a fool would drive it at a decent pace when it's not being used as a racetrack. It's a public road and there are buses on it. Going both ways........

Ah yes, without the buses coming towards you! wink

If you get the chance, though, have a drive round, I went round about three times. You do have to take care though.

I'll practice going round in the opposite direction, then. wink
