Hello,

According to the circuit information, the circuit at Spa has no noise restrictions, but I have just booked my place in April through Easytrack, which states that there is a 110db limit.

I have a 2001 4.5 with a de-catted (silenced version) system with sports pipes, which are likely to exceed this level. I really don't want to use mufflers on the day, but want to be prepared if it turns out that they are required.

Has anyone taken their Cerbera to this circuit, and if so, were you tested for noise output?

Thanks very much

Charles

I read that there are no noise resrictions at Spa. This article should be able to confirm this... www.pistonheads.com/trackdays/index.asp?storyId=9831 ...there is also a link to the Spa website here, so maybe a phone number can be found to confirm?

Worth clarifying though. I've been told 'no noise limits' in the past only to find that they do exist and are either only enforced sometimes or are high and some people consider that as 'no noise limit'.

If Spa is anything like Belgian Stage rallies there is more likley to be a MINIMUM noise level rather than a maximum !
May have changed a bit recently, but they used to activley encourage noise as part of the event.... and flames belching out of their sidepipes!!... on closed public roads!!

have driven spa during "normal" day when it becomes ordinary road, and it`s still awesome...dodging the trucks up Eau Rouge(sp?)...... Enjoy !!
