Adobe recently released CC 2015.2.1 version of Lightroom. The import dialog is abysmal and the rest of Lightroom is buggy and unstable. My computer cant cpe very well with it. Avoid! Loads of stuff on-line about it and the suggestion is roll back to previous version. Life's not that simple the catalogue et al needs re-constructing and with 140k pics....

So don't do it!

I'm reasonably new to Lightroom but am finding my v2.1 very unstable as well. They'll be fixing it soon I hope!

they've apologised (almost believable) and will be sorting. Until then it is really bad.

I cannot use lightroom at the moment it is just completely hopeless and has been since the update.

How is it that adobe have not fixed this yet? especially for CC customers who are paying a subscription for a non-working product.

I made the mistake if updating it too, all the well documented crashes etc so I took the advice of one of the LR forum posts and went back to LR 6.1.1.

Easy to do, saves all the heartache until they get it right.

A new update was released the other day which goes back to the original import method and seems to be stable for me so far...

Yes, great relief to get the old Import dialogue back.
