I'm no accountant, but here is a summary (pulled from the Internet) of a company I'd like to know a bit more about - does this show a good or bad position, or maybe no reliable information at all?
Both assets and liabilities have declined drastically in 3 years - why would this be?

My interpretation of that incomplete records question would be that sales volume is shrinking so sales debtors and associated purchase creditors have fallen in line. In 2013 they made a small profit but made a loss in 2014 and all the cash has gone.
If not actually running I'd be sidling slowly away.. ...........

Oooh - any line going down has to be a bad thing.

What does the company do? Looks like a service company? There is no P&L data so performance is hard to gauge.

No way I would be investing in that based on that info - it looks like its being run down!

Can you get any further info, particularly a business plan?

I assume this is sarcasm (not always clear on internet forums)?

Thank you for your comments. It confirms my suspicions, but I had no real way of knowing from the confusing (to me) figures.

The actual type of business they do may not be that relevant, and I suppose I shouldn't name them on here, but they are a kind of "service" I suppose, connected with the leisure & travel industries.

On this basis I'd be ok to continue to do my small amount of business with them on a short-term basis, but won't be taking out any long term commitments, especially those that need payment up front!
