What Colour WHeels Boxste GTS
Discussion
It has to be a personal choice as we all prefer different combinations, and I suppose there is no right or wrong colour - just look at as many cars and photos as you can.
My BGTS is Guards Red and I chose the standard silver finish - haven't got the car yet so can't send a photo. The silver is to me the best colour for alloys, and the added bonus of not costing more too - Porsche really rip us off on wheel colours as it must be the same cost to paint silver black or platinum (partial black would incur a cost). I did think about platinum as I do quite like it, but personally I don't like black wheels - side view in deep shadow or poor light looks like a black hole, but I know a lot of people do like them.

I'd go for the standard silver...reasons.
You can see the spokes.
Silver and red are a classic combination and look great.
Powder coating them to a finish you really like is cheaper than the optional colours, longer lasting too.
I've a Guards Red 987 with chrome powder coating (see the Boxster / Cayman picture thread) for me it's the perfect wheel finish.

Ironically i run two cars with gloss black wheels but don't like them. I had no choice with the 991 GT3 as it was specification was chosen (it was a cancelled order), but i will be changing them on my 997.
As soon as things are bit dirty, gloss black wheels make the tyres look brown. As such, i'd either go for platinum but if you really want black wheels, choose the matt option.
