Which is the best Leon Cupra?
Discussion
I had a mk2 facelift for 18 months and was fantastic. Love the way it looked, drove and felt. Was completely reliable and very fast (albeit mine was mapped up to 300+BHP) and looked great in Kiwi Green. I drove a Cupra R with a view to upgrading but left me very underwhelmed. I do like the new one but it looks a bit conservative. Persoanlly, I'd have another mk2 in a heartbeat but would need to be in a garish colour!
That's eerily well-timed. I've been playing fantasy-spec-a-Mk-3-Cupra this week.
The PH feature on the Sub8 Pack suggests you only really notice the differences if you take it to a track. At least, that's how I read it.
It seems a shame that you can't spec a 280 with 18 inch wheels.
I can see why the Mk 1 and 2 appeal but I'm a fan of the subtlety of the Mk3.
EDIT: Given free rein, I'd have a 5 door Mk3, Monsoon Grey, 280 with manual gearbox, thanks muchly. Then I'd go about swapping the wheels for someone who has a 265 on 18's.
