My first foray into Lamborghini/Gallardo ownership, does anyone have any pointers with the one up for sale at Motoring Hub (DS56 LUP)? Many thanks..

Same place as Keighley Trade Centre I think. Google them.

They do seem to be connected to Keighley Motor trade (which I gather does not have the best of reputations), I was wondering if any prospective purchaser had an inspection carried out on the car?..

I would highly recommend a reputable dealer check. Personally i'm at a main dealer with Pangbourne, can't speak highly enough of them and their team. Others that I can speak highly on the independant side are BHPmsport nr aylesbury and SupercarServices nr Ilford, both also know Gallardo like the back of their hands. You will want to know clutch wear and condition you could be looking at 5k+ if it needs replaced, did it have the 8 year service thats a big one 5k+ with main dealer and so on. Fabulous cars, pre LP 5.0 sound beutiful and have a great character, I moved from a 2007 year model to a current 14 plate LP back in the summer, the new car is fabulous but i do miss the old 5.0. Have it checked, hopefully all is good, as if it is i'm sure you'll love the car. 70proof and others have many posts here on Gallardo pointers worth reading dig around a bit.

Oh yeah sorry forgot Andrew put a guide together too. Just careful of his choice in colour (or primer) and exaggerated spoiler additions, otherwise worth a read

Coco79, I called them regarding this car when looking for mine as its looks good on paper. That said I wanted to view the car within 3 hrs of calling on my way back north from Lonfon and they couldn't accommodate. It does appear that the sellers are using as there own transport which is why when you look at the pictures the interior isn't clear etc.

Doesn't mean it's a bad car but you will need to give them plenty of notice prior to viewing.

Scuff under front near side bumper which any dealer worth there sole should have addressed prior to advertising.....

It's a tough one!

I know it's a little late but they are not who most of you are thinking about.

This is the one to completely avoid.
http://www.motor-hub.co.uk/

Also the one in Chesham, they appear to be operating from a storage yard. I used to live in Chesham and a friend of a friend owns the land I think they use to keep there cars as there used to be a few (not great looking) cars kept there.
Here to be precise (you can see the small block of cars)

Heard some bad reports of cars that Motorhub have - first hand from the person who inspected them.

I haven't heard anything positive about them, only bad reviews.

It is sad that a business would operate in this manner, not describing cars properly etc.

I have had to walk away from several "perfect cars" over the years when I have travelled miles and miles to view them, a total waste of everybodys time.
