Outdoor Car Cover Recommendations?

As the title implies I'm looking for any recommendations for an outdoor car cover. I'm losing my garage due to building works at home so need to park my Alfa 75 and Merc W124 Coupe outside over the winter.

Id recommend not using one at all. In my experience they do more harm than good. A cover will trap in moisture and even the ones they call breathable will make your car damp as. They also do a very good job of ruining paintwork.

If its just one winter i would be inclined to just give them a damn good wax before it kicks in and leave them to nature. Its presumably where they were for most of their life anyway.

Contact your local council to see if they have any lock ups for rent, mine is £7 a week.

I have the outdoor Carcoon. And it seems to work as advertised and certainly far superior to any other car covers I've used.

They are a bit pricey, but you can get them on finance from Demon Tweaks, so makes it bit easier to split the costs over 12 payments.
