Ratios too. Sometimes applied to your Sic Code and an average of Companies with the same Sic Code.

There are some very clever analysts that can also 'estimate' your turnover for example from your Balance Sheet. I was shown a formula a few years back and it was spooky how close it got.

There are many services similar to companycheck. Endole.co.uk and Intercreditreport.com in the list. All of them provide a part of info fo free. They got this info from companies house for a little and provide this info for free. But they the most interesting info such as CCJ and credit score for a quite sigbificant price. Probably they just re-sell this info.
