New Bike Advice please....

Hi to all - looking for some advice / recommendations for my other half;

She is looking for a new road bike (pretty much any make / model within budget of £1100 - £1300 ish) She currently has a Specialized Secteur sport disc which is great if a little heavy and the gearset is low range.

So looking for a fast road bike with disc brakes and high end gearset.

Doesn't have be women's frame.

Seen loads but not sure what is a good combo - price vs components etc.

This probably sounds vague but any help appreciated!

Rose make great bikes and this one is light, with a great spec all round and no real weak points. You can also choose things like stem and crank length and swap pars to avoid having to change anything to fi.

Pretty vague, but I'll open the bidding with Giant Defy Advanced 1 as it has discs and Ultegra at £1300 in the sales.
