lower wishbone
Discussion
Assuming it is similar to a Cerb, then the answer is heat - lots of it, then you should be fine. Mine had been undisturbed for 17 years and then did eventually shift, but you cannot use too much heat. I also used Wurth Rost Off Ice, but I'm not sure that it helped in this instance even though it definitely did with other seized/broken bolts.

Ignoring my flippant (drunk) previous post I'm assuming you've got the ball joint out of the bottom of the hub? If so, if you undo the top shock absorber mount you'll find the whole wishbone swivels down and makes access to get the bottom ball joint off much easier.

No worries ! In fact the whole shebang needs to come off, suffering from the 'whilst-I'm-at-it syndrom' !! I will tidy up the chassis, clean, touch-up paint and waxoyl. Then give the underbody a coat of satin black and the wheelarches some stone-chip.
The ARB links and bushes will be replaced for new, the whole suspension (balljoints, trackrod ends, bushes and shocks) will be replaced for new too.
I was just wondering if it would be easier to separate them in situ, as I found on earlier occasions (3000S)
Tomorrow I'll take of the wishbones, with the hub still on and applly some heat and give a good whack......
cheers, Frank
