Velcro & Decals
Discussion
The velcro is difficult because it may have been glued on with soemthing in addition to the self adhesive backing (mine has) but acetate is probably not a bad choice if it is just the original glue or even white spirit, this shouldn't harm any paintwork.
If superglue has been used then you may need to rip off the velcro and sand off the remaining glue carefully and re-apply new velcro over where you've sanded.
To remove decals use a hairdryer and remove any remaining residue of adhesive with white spirit.
