Not as it may sound but actually a rather good (if big - 70meg) MPEG showing French Navy Etendards in action over Afghanistan and Djibuti - takes an age to download but worth it IMO.

When it comes to female personnel, the French Navy obviously has a different recruitment criteria to our own.

Why don't the RAF or Royal Navy produce anything like this?

Zut alors....that was very good.

So that's how it felt to kill HMS Sheffield.

Nice of the froggies to check sights on the Yank tanker......

Sacre Bleu, mon brave.....what's with the on-deck Ministry of Silly Walks routine all about.....?

Nice vid!

The 'in cockpit' camera looking at the pilots face on landing.... looks like his eyes are going to pop out! (Perfect smilie)

Also, a scary landing attempt from the guy when the back 'bounced' up and he was zipping down the deck on the nosewheel!

There was a similar video posted a while back from the Swiss AF. Some spectacular shots of flying in the Alps.

He got out ok, just very shocked. We were shown this film to demonstrate how all the training in the world will leave you in a split second, hear him calling for Mark (his friend)instead of following his drills.
