fallen back in love with 599 but......
Discussion
Dear PH
I am in a long term stable relationship with my 599 but cant get the FF out of my head. Is it just a mid-life crisis (again!)
Been running a 599 for few years and just did epic London/Scotland trip with a mate including two full sets of golf clubs. Never uncomfortable but found it tough and noisy on motorway but up through the borders it was just awesome. Been thinking about a trade up to FF for the extra seats (had 612s and 456s before so partfial to a four seater GT) and better refinement for the dull stuff. 599 prices are going up and FF seem to be going down. I suspect it is just an infatuation and would regret the affair - should I do the swap
Help please

I'd possibly be tempted to wait until the prices converge a little more? I recently bought an LHD 550 and as much as I love it the FF really appeals. However in my case I think it's the fact that the 550 is really more of a classic/fair weather/garaged car now while the FF appears more useable. I wonder whether the LHD 550 and FF prices might converge someway down the line...
As for relative values, whilst both models are on definite paths at present the FF is such a unique car within the marque so where its current descent ends is up for question. I'm guessing that when they begin falling out of the seven year service plan that could impact it too. However if the current car's replacement is V8 turbo as suggested that could add kudos to the original V12 cars.
No. No help at all. Sorry
