When I bought the car a piece of the trim had an unsightly mark on it , apparently its from spilling air freshener liquid on it

it does seem to be a piece that can be removed does anyone have any ideas how to do this and where to get a piece , looked on ebay - no joy

or shall i just get it done when i get my service at my indy specialist

Cheers

Can't answer your specific question but if you search on Youtube there are often helpful videos posted by people who've done the job before. For instance, I've recently used it to find and replace the heater fan speed control resistors on another car. Cost me less than £20 for the part as opposed to paying a main dealer to hit me with an extra £120 of labour.
