Other than certain other charities. Definately not the arts. Definately not sport. Definately not prostitutes?:

A £300,000 National Lottery bid by the Samaritans was rejected because the charity did not specifically target "disadvantaged" groups, according to reports.
The grant would have enabled the Sheffield branch of the organisation - which supports the depressed and suicidal - to refurbish new premises in the city. But its request for the money was allegedly turned down because it did not favour particular groups, such as the young, or ethnic minorities or asylum seekers.

Isabel Blincow, from the charity, said: "We can't understand why other groups succeeded where we failed. Our callers come from all parts of society, we don't discriminate. We talk to everyone regardless of faith, race, colour, sex or class."

Ok, so that was a bit of selective copying but so what!, i hate the way this country is going. You would have thought the samaritans would be near the top of the list anyway.
Wouldn't suprise me if they got rid of the cubs and scouts next.
Oh, and what the online version fails to say is that a sex pressure group recieved £360k in the latest handouts.

Does that mean any other grant given is automatically racist, sexist etc just because it DOES target one group?
