Steering rack???

I am on my second Geep and this one needs TLC I sent my steering rack off for a rebuild. Had a phone call this morning to say it was too far gone. has anyone out there got a spare Mk 2 rack?? It looks more like a chariot with just two wheels. Please Please Please!!

Can you not just get an exchange rack- mine cost about £20 from the local shop...

The company that supplies recon racks didn't have an old one to recondition. thats why I had to send my old one iff to them, so that they could rebuild it. It seems that they are getting a bit thin on the ground. I need a rack that i at least good enough to rebuild. I would really like to get this old Geep up to Stonleigh. Thanks loads guys!!!

There's a MkII steering rack on e-bay at the moment with a few days left, Have you tried GS Escorts (Ian Harwood) Their advert says MkI and MkII racks for £20.
