Fernhurst have just put up for sale a Griffith for £75K !

Okay its number 100 of the 100 SE, so the last one made but seems an extraordinary price. Don't like the rear lights anyway.

Is this their own car that they had in the showroom for many years? If so, I seem to recall it was for sale some time ago at a speculative price too.

Also that you can't buy a Griffith from them for less than £27995. I bought mine 9 years ago and at that time they were selling late, lowish mileage non-SE Griffiths for £18-20k so they have moved the asking price of their own stock up £10,000 over that period.

£75K - OUCH!!

And at one time they were offering 3 year warranties with their more expensive cars.

TBH, if I had £75K to spare I would have put a deposit down on one for one of the new launch edition cars!

Looks very similar to mine (from the outside anyway)!

Seriously, if you want to make Griffs at £25 - £35k look good value park them next to one that's up at £75k. Seems good business logic to me and if anyone does come along and buy it that's a bonus.

Gets people talking about them, doesn't it?

They recently sold an SE for £50k so £75k for the last one built doesn't sound as crazy as it once did. It's only 3.2 Carrera money after all....

Yeah but that was a purple one, purple ones are worth more money - in my eyes!

They're only original once! 75k is pushing it, but look at the price of E types for instance, or anything air cooled Porsche.
Cheapest decent looking Griff for sale today (yes I look almost daily!) is 14k and a cat D - the bargain basement section used to start at 8 grand.
The only way is up smile

I'm now after a Griffith 500, great looking car and drive surprising well with better dampers but £75,000 no chance, only willing to spend £30,000 for a good one.
