If I export a classic from UK, which is currently registered here with a V5, all I need to do is complete the relevant section on the V5 and post it off to DVLA. Correct?

I wish to import a car, its a 1957 MG, built in UK, shipped to South Africa, back to UK, off to Belgium and now coming back to UK again. What do I need to do?

Turns out, the car is still registered in the UK despite having been in Belgium for a while, all I need to do is bring it home insured, no MOT required as its 1958, tax it online.
