Cayman GT4 steering wheel

Really like the look of the GT4 steering wheel, I know this is a long shot but does anyone know if it will fit a 997 GT3?

Really interested to find out myself. The proportions of the GT4 wheel are ideal. I can't see why the physical attachment would differ and certainly intend to find out as it would make a great upgrade to the existing GT3 steering wheel.

It's not mentioned in reviews,but it's a lovely steering wheel ,no buttons,perfect size and not too thick and not too thin.
It's a tactile pleasure .

I think I would have to buy the whole unit (wheel AND airbag) but I am more concerned if there are any wiring issues or problems with the indicators stalks etc.

Must say though, after buying a 997 GT3 earlier this year, it was really refreshing to get back in a car with 'classic' thin-rimmed steering wheel. I personally think the smaller, fatter wheels in modern cars aren't as good for feedback.

Moreover, i think you are going to have a design clash. The modern GT4 wheel versus the retro 997 interior? Don't think it will work, personally.

You could be right, maybe the 4.0 RS wheel would be a better bet.....probably more likely to 'fit' in all senses.
