Wanted - 190E 2.5-16 instrument cluster

Due to odometer failure that is beyond repair I need a replacement instrument cluster please. MB part no. on the speedo is 201 542 21 66.

The speedometer (incorporating the odometer and tripmeter) is a separate part. It may still be available from the dealer. If not, you may be best off sending it out for repair. There are numerous specialists (see Google) and the prices are not expensive.

The odometer failure is quite common on w201. One cog does not follow the shaft any more (connection gets lose). Can be repaired by marking the shaft with pliers and forcing the cog back into position.

Thank you r129sl and Bodo for you replies. I am aware of the repair kits etc but there are other issues with the cluster as a whole. I have checked with the dealer and the part either whole or clock-by-clock are no longer made by VDO. So in short I am in the market for a complete cluster in good nick if you hear of one for a 16v knocking around.
