Some pretty crazy footage from Dubai - I hadn't realised jet packs had come that far.

Hard to believe that's real and not CGI!

Expect to see them in Die Hard 27 soon...

Very spectacular. I bet the Airbus pilots were very, very much on edge with all that going on just off their wingtips.

I wonder if they take off like V1s, or a trolley like a Me163?

They jumped out of a helicopter, enter a dive and hit the Ignite Button - impressive! Here's the Video

Thanks for this - I was still expecting someone to say it was cgi and I'd been duped!

Yes there is an excellent 'making of' video doing the rounds as well, took a lot of planning as they had two support/camera aircraft up as well. They could only fly for 10 minutes as they had to be at full power to keep up with the A380.

No Problem - I found the Video in the comments section of the first video as someone had raised the same "Was it CGI?" Question.

Crazy "Yves Rossy" is da man (The Jetman).
He is an ex airline pilot himself, who designed and built the jet wing.
He has been doing this for nearly 10 years now.
I wasn't aware there was a new second pilot of the jet wing.

Would hate to see what happened if one got in the wake turbulence of that A380.

I think if they end up in a tumble they just switch off the jet and pull the parachute.

of course it was. if not a lot of people would be in prison, even the a380 pilots.
