Ratle on 997 Turbo Gen 2
Discussion
Hi everyone, I have a rattle coming from the passenger side of the car. Its been doing it since I've owned the car (about 4 months) and its now bothering me enough to do something about it.
It basically sounds like a pair of these being rattled but at fairly low volume:

Any ideas what it could be?

You need to be a bit more specific. Fron, back or middle of car, inside or outside. Does it change or vary with engine speed, going over rough surfaces, etc.
Hard to pinpoint but sounds as though its coming more from the rear of the car, most likely passenger side rear wheel area. Its on the outside of the car and it seems to be noisiest when you get in the car and its cold. The volume of it varies depending on if your going in a straight line or turning left or right. Sometimes if it is making the noise in a straight line and then you hit a bump in the road the noise will stop.
Very strange, I don't think it has anything to do with the engine but can't see what it could have to do with the wheel either? Did think maybe a dodgy wheel bearing but surely that would make more noise?
Thanks,
Andrew
