Lovely. The Singer 964s are, in my head at least, exactly what I want. The bespoke nature of the car just has so much appeal.

Yes that bit did make me sit back a little too.

It's a thing of beauty but lots of cars at 450k

Great Vid, not for me personally, overtyred & daft central fuel filler For starters but I really do appreciate the attention to detail & superb craftmanship, can't help but think you could get 80% of that for 20% of the price though.

A little over 1100kg's? I doubt that very much. US tests were also vague on the true weight but put the figure at nearer 1200kg.

Just what the world needs, another Singer advertorial. Clearly he likes the Singer, which is fine but if Evo can be constructive about the Gt4 and RS I fail to see why they get all misty eyed over this.

That would be surprisingly heavy, aren't most early 911s well below 1000kg?
This even has carbon body panels, so where's all that additional weight from - the larger engine, wheels, brakes?

A base 964 C2 will be about 1350kg. The singer is no stripped out racer despite the special panels.

When 4.0rs are 400k, i recon this is not over expensive. Much more singular, personal. More work going into each. No one will ever have the same car as you.

...and resale for half the money; if you're lucky.

It's a nice car, but it looks a little grotesque with the chubby bits. I'd rather have all sorts of other cars: 993RS, 996RS (yes, I definitely would), CGT or RS 4.0, OBVIOUSLY!

This is a car designed for the man who already owns a 918.

I must be in a minority: while the engineering, detailing, finish looks exceptional, I just think the proportions on the Singer cars look awkward. The rims too big, the arches cartoonish.

Just me?
