Looking for a decent size roll cab for home use, I can't justify the expense of a snap on version as I won't be using and abusing it all day long.

Had anyone bought a US pro one from eBay? They look good value at £450 ish.

Any thoughts /experience most welcome...

Have you got a link? At that sort of price I'd be looking at the Halfords Industrial ones.

Don't know why you would need to spend £450, I have one of these & they are pretty good for home use, with an additional 3 drawer centre box.

I am 6ft 5 & if it were any higher I wouldn't be able to see in the top.

Only need a roll cab, don't want a top box.

I couldn't find any Halfords boxes of that size though..

I bought the wooden 3 piece stack to replace my 30 year old snap on kit after rationalising my 50+ year old tool kit good looking but a bit flimsy but does the job ,it would not have held the big stuff which I no longer use[ spanners upto 75 mm ] but holds the stuff to look after my 2 cars

I bought a US pro stainless steel cab with the wooden top a few months ago, its not quite snap on quality but its about 1/7th of the price so more than happy with it

I've had one for years, apart from the locking system being a bit iffy and one of the keys snapping the actual cabinet and drawers have been fine.

Went with this in the end...

£400 due to the VAT free offer at machine mart and a store credit I had. Very happy with it, and seems pretty robust. Its no snap on but for the price I have no complaints.

I have this one and am happy with it for the money:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/40-US-PRO-MASSIVE-TOOL-C...

It's not perfect, but I suspect it'll last longer than me. I think the cheap (relatively speaking) roller-bearing cabinets are all much of a muchness, really.
