How much fluid do I need?

Want to order online for parts for a 12k service and need to confirm quantities that I will need.

I have searched through threads, RV8 rescource and the bible and cant seem to find a definitive list.

So far I think I have found the following:

Engine oil - 6 litres
Gearbox oil - 2.5 litres?
brake fluid - 1 litre ?
clutch fluid - 1 litre?
coolant - 12 litres - so 5 litres antifreeze?

Is that right?

Is it worth buying 3 litres of dot 5.1 and doing both clutch and brakes with it?

Amounts look OK. Remember that you need Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) for the gearbox rather than gearbox oil. Yes, I know it's not an automatic but that's one of the quirks of TVR's.

Also, unless you're doing track days DOT4 brake/clutch fluid will be fine. By all means put DOT5.1 in if you want but it's not strictly necessary. A couple of litres should be more than enough to bleed both - you might well get away with 1.

I don't intend to be doing any track days but have had boiling brake fluid on a car after a spirited drive in the mountains here recently so maybe 5.1 might be better.

Dextron III oil is what I intend to get for the gearbox.

How much diff oil will I need?

Sorry, didn't realise you were in Cyprus. 50 degree heat and mountain roads is somewhat different to the Coventry ring road in the drizzle!

About 1.5 litres for the diff.

This info for BTR differential, I seem to remember needing approx. 1.4 litres, 85w140 limited slip diff fully synthetic (iirc), I use Morris's which was used originally I believe. Basically ensure the car is level and fill until it starts to run out of the filler hole.
