Just a thought following on from last night's news...
When Iraquis get killed, it's our (the West's) fault. Fair enough When our OWN troops get killed, it's still our fault... Eh?
Yesterday they were trying to blame the paratropper who fired a shot - because it antagonised the mob.
A contributory factor perhaps, but why is no-one blaming the raging mob who then went in and deliberately murdered the redcaps? Anyone looking for them?
Just seems a funny kind of justice, that's all.

I used to be a big reader of Erik von Danikan (sp) as a teen and used the books to 'prove' to my father that aliens had landed.

That's true Planet Dave. The power the media has is scary, because it controls what everyone thinks. And that knocks on to Government who are forced to react to 'public pressure'.
