PS4 Christmas Deals

Hi

Am getting my kid a PS4 for Christmas, have been looking round for best deals etc.

In general do bundles get cheaper near Christmas and therefore should I wait or should I buy now.

I'd imagine the standard Christmas deals are in full swing already, although maybe have a quick nosey on Black Friday? Depends if you're willing to run the risk of delivery being delayed.

I just pre ordered the 1tb star wars battlefront bundle for my kids (and me) at £329.00. I understand sony dropped the price of the ps4 a couple of weeks ago so I would imagine it's unlikely they will go much lower.

Also worth noting that there is a new version of the ps4 with revised hardware making it lighter, quieter and more power efficient. The new ones are marked on the box as cuh1216a and also have a matt finish to the hard drive cover. Be aware, the older cuh1100 versions are still being sold alongside these to get rid of the old stock.
