Hi all,
Bit of advice really from people in the know!
I'm 26,I work shifts (nights,days,weekends).
Back in October-November last year I weighed 102kilos and was "obese", I had been going the gym but not really getting any results, I then spotted a poster for a charity swim so decided to start training for it (I used to swim alot!), I combined swimming with the gym, I then started BJJ as well.
Fast forward to now and I'm now 75kilos, Basically by making sure I don't consume more than 2000calories a day (apart from cheat days) and swimming,BJJ and gym I've lost alot of weight.
My energy levels aren't great though and often feel very tired,I've been tested and confirmed as having Vitamin D deficiency which I have been proscribed Vitamin D3 tablets for now, I'm feeling a little better but still not great.
I'm thinking of getting something like MyProtein Super Vitamin tablets http://www.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/alpha-me...
I need to speak to the doctor about these as I'm a little concerned I might end up "overdosing" on Vitamin D as these contain is as well. Anybody been using anything like this? Shift work means eating fresh food isn't always easy.
