I need a bit of touch up and have been told that Metalic Satin Black LY9Y is no longer available. Idealy would have liked an aerosol can but could use small tin for brush application. Bits I need to do are on the wheel arches where subject to debris coming up from wheels. Anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Can't PorscheShop help you?
They can get their hands on most colours.

Automotive Paint Supplies in Newbury Berks (Tel 01635 43149 or 42790).They will match any paint and send out touch up kits by post circa £10. They used to send out aerosols as well, but I think the Royal Mail put a stop to that.

Reading OPC use them to get old Porsche colours

Thanks guys, trying both. I'm told Halfords will also colour match. Forgot to say I also need the paint for my 1:24 scale plastic kit I want to paint like my car....sad! Anyone know anything about reverse moulding so I can get RH drive?

I did this out of Plasticene and plaster of Paris for a Capri conversion (Airfix Mk 1 Capri to RS3000 Touring Car) I made some years ago, right hand to left hand in this case.

BTW, careful using car paint on plastic, it may melt it!!

Thanks, Halfords looks favourite given cost and low importance of location. Melv, thanks for warning, I'll experiment first!
