Been for a ride in one in Germany and have lusted ever since...

But is it really worth the 100K asking price?

No.

I didn't even think they made one.

You can get a 993TT for 30k these days if you look carefully. A cab isn't worth three times that.

Besides, the cabs look uglier, are heavier, tend to have softer suspension yada yada

Buy a 996tt from Joel at RSJ for 45k. Give AmD 4k to get it up to 490bhp and you will have a GT2 rivalling supercar for less than 50k. Makes much more sense and it will eat 993tt cabs for breakfast.

Agree with the Head,

But the heart says that they only made 14 of them and the engine is rated at 450Bhp from the factory. The one in Germany was for sale at EUR70,000 for a 40K km car...

Hmmm...

You've got to really LOVE it.

Heidi Klum covered in baby oil type fondness or forget it.

Or be a hairdresser in a hell of a hurry. Cab turbos are soooooo Nicky Clarke I'd rather be seen in a Boxster S.

If it's your bag, tho', go for it

Looks just like a 3.2 supersport Targa with a set of 993 wings bolted on!

A cheaper option would be to buy a 993 C4 cab and get the engine and body up-graded. Reckon you could get 500 bhp for c. £55k - at least, that's what I'm doing. Up-side is you get to spec the bits and have something unique. Downside is you would have to be in it for the long term as resale would not be too kind.
Incidentally, Ruf and Gemballa did quite a few cab conversions......

Jonathan, if I may call you that all I can say is that you're clearly still at an impressionable age where a lick of glossy paint and some bling wheels does it for you.
