Appointment Outsourcing
Discussion
Good evening fellow Piston headers,
Can I please ask if anybody runs, works or can recommend an appointment making call centre to generate business appointments for our consultants.
I would appreciate if you can either post on here or email me your recommendations.
To assist, we are based in Manchester, appointments must be in and around the Manchester or Leeds regions.
We are more than happy to help train you or your staff as we are seeking a long term arrangement.
Kind Regards,
I.

Cold calling? I know a reasonably good agency, I've worked with them a few times and at first we were working on appointment setting with them.
It was a waste of time, it worked 5 years ago, but now it's hard to get in the door cold. We found we need to engage people more so they were aware of who we are before we called, whether that was online, at shows, in certain magazines, we just couldnt get through the door without doing a lot of pre-engagement things to get them talking with us.
There were deals we fell over here and there but that was 5%, the other 95% were gatekeepered up
If you're doing this, and you find an agency that'll work with you, have a plan to make their calls for appointment relevant with context

we've tried and failed with many agencies, in the end brought it in house and it works. but it works because the agent is part of the business and understands how you work/what you are good at.
The thing you need to remember is that an appointment that you have no chance of winning/isn't a good fit for your business is worse than no appointment at all as you are wasting time and money going.

Hi, I own a B2B telemarketing and lead generation agency with most of our work being in appointment setting.
As other posters have said telemarketing works best when done by callers that are well trained and it is integrated into other elements of your marketing.
We run campaigns for clients that integrate into our own, or our clients, email, direct mail, online, digital and event marketing.
Telemarketing is still one of the best ways to understand your prospects needs, timeframes, budgets, decision making process and to arrange qualified meetings at the right time. If done well can be very successful, we still have our first clients that have been with us for four years.
I'd be very happy to discuss your requirements to see if we can help or answer any questions you have. Drop me a pm or let me have your contact details.
Thanks,
Phil
