It's staying..

I was getting close to giving up with the car as it has let me down on a regular basis but now its up and running again it sins are forgiven. (fingers and everything else crossed). Anyone else been close to parting because of failures but kept it as it's just the best thing when its going well?

After letting me down once again this month with a failed alternator (initial thoughts were the charging fuse or failed battery) the Cerbs back on the road and seems to be getting quicker with 2000 miles on the engine after the RR job + de-cat.

Thanks to all at Hexham Horseless for doing great work on the car and helping me get back on the road quickly.

I go back to work n KL on Sunday so I'm running it around and enjoying it as much as I can.

Its truly awesome now and very very quick, from 80-1x0 its soooo quick its not funny..these are truly nutty cars!

Yes me! I have recently been so close to letting go of the Cerbera, but after getting her back all in good working order i have made up my mind that come what may she is staying . Just need to sort the rest of my life out and all will be rosy

Looking at your profile the car looks like it hasnt cost that much (if you ignore upgrades).
so cant have been that unreliable?
Mine cost £13K in 2 yrs mainly on servicing and REPAIRS. Didnt get the opportunity to afford upgrades!
I sold it once it was all sorted, which I regreted, hence why I want another!

Yes me, I havn't got the patience for the thing, it's having a clutch fitted at the moment, then it's off to an auto electrician to have the starter button modified, re trimmers to have the drivers seat done & then it's in the paper for sale.

I know what you mean, it's hard to get rid of when they're o.k., but in the back of my mind I'm always wondering what's next ?

What to get next is the problem, for less than £20k, nothing comes close in terms of pace & individuality.

Considering adding a few £'s and getting an old Viper, 400 bhp but around 1500kg to drag round or an Esprit V8.
