Hi all

Where is the air compressor for the spare wheel usually stowed in a 993.

I can't find one on mine, so not sure if it's missing or whether I've got marbles for eyes!!

And if it is missing i can't see an obvious place to stow it.

Thanks Chris

Blimey that seems a damn sight larger than the one in mine, and mines def the original.
I wonder if they upgraded/made it larger over the years.

Another quick question!

When the spare has been inflated and used how easy is it to deflate it back to its stowage size?

Don't tell me the compressor also deflates it!!!

I don't know but it is something I never want to try ........ it would be great if the pump could be reversed to deflate the tyre but I pretty sure that is not the case ...... all I know it's a bloody tight fit.

You take out the tyre valve and as it deflates it should go back to its original position.

Or just use a screwdriver on the valve head .. will take longer though.
