A380 MSN001 Test bed for New Rolls Royce A350-1000 Engine

The new A350-1000 engine fitted on the A380 performed its maiden flight on 5/11.

All-new Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engine that will power the A350-1000, this is the first flight of the new engine.

With Emirates pushing for 380NEO I wonder if the data gathered would / could be beneficial in potentially incorporating this engine into a redesigned A380 Wing?

Although if I remember the 320 NEO needed appx 33% of the wing redesigning!
