Well found out ELO are touring and happy as Larry I thought Mrs Iroc and I would go... @ 09.01 all sold out and yet, and yet viagogo, getmein or whatever else these f
king sites call themselves full of tickets for sale. Absolute s - legal touting. Words fail me... or at least words that I can say in polite company

Interestingly I was all ready to log on and stake my claim for a couple of tickets to Prince's upcoming shows at the end of November, but he mysteriously suspended ticket sales at the last minute and now appear to be waging a one-man crusade against ticket touts/"reseller" sites.
There's no way on earth that the official ticket channels aren't in on the whole sordid industry -s the lot of them.

O/T here but if you do manage to end up getting tickets go! I couldn't stand the fella but ended up at one of his gigs - amazing! s the lot of them.Went on to Ticketmaster this morning and tickets for ELO Liverpool were £250+. I thought "sod that, I'm not paying that". Called the Echo arena Liverpool tonight, got two tickets at £71.50 each. Ok, they're not together, but they are in the same block.

Prince was conspicuously going through the motions when I saw him. The best thing about that gig was the Thieves in the Temple video they played before and after the show.

Similar story. Logged on at 09:10 and all sort out bar VIP. Now means my friend who is a fan won't go as normal tickets are way overpriced. Even nosebleed seats are £120 plus.
Just paid 235 for two so called Platinum seating. Despite having no one to go with. I'll probably use the spare as a Christmas present for someone.
