I am looking to buy a property with supposed industrial b1 planning permision but it appears that the current permision was granted retrospectively and at the time allowing the previous tenents to continue with their business.
In the permition it states the exact useage along with some fairly standard planning terms relating to working hours and parking etc, it does not state a blanket approval for industrial b1 use.
My question is if a company obtaines a retropective planning permision for what it appears is specifically for its exact use is it likely for this to questioned for other b1 type uses or other business take over the property.
Can a permission cease if a company stops trading, there is a current rateable value to suggest that is in line with a b1 type property

Unless it's a personal permission then permission goes with the building/land.

Are you worried that you use won't fit the permission? If you orovide link to permission I could have quick look if you like
