My internet has vanished!

I bought my M5 second hand when it was about 15 months old. One of the features it came with was internet access, which I used on the day I picked it up and then probably haven't used it again since. However, I had poor mobile signal on my phone today so thought I would use the car instead. But the Internet has gone. In its place is an offer to buy access from BMW. My car is roughly 2 years old now and had a service a month or 2 ago. When the car is bought new is the internet only included for a finite period of time or during the service have they somehow wiped my access?! Many thanks

You're right. I paid £95 for it. What a waste of money. You, of course, can't use it when moving so unless you like to sit in the car for long periods, or decide to live in it, it seems pointless.
