Morning all.
I have a tamiya Fast Attack Vehicle w with a two channel radio which I built some time ago but have not used it. I have been trying to set up the ESC , I set up the throttle without problems. But I can't set up the steering servo, I have replaced the ESC and steering servo but no joy.

Can anyone help? Any tips would be great

Many thanks

Philip

Have you plugged the servo in the right way round in the Rx?

It's really a matter of elimination. Assuming it's a basic servo and ESC.

Then you want to check the servo is connected correctly in the correct plug on the Receiver.

You could try swapping the ESC and servo over on the Rx for the process of elimination, so that Ch2 on the Tx (up and down) does the steering and Ch1 the ESC. If the ESC is then dead but the servo works, it could be a Tx or Rx issue.

Does your transmitter have steering rate adjustment?

If so, is it turned up.

I remember from my days of RC racing that some servos needed two of the wires swapping round to work on certain receivers? Think it was the red/brown and black.
