hi i have a 2004 defender 90 it has a litte lean on her now so i want to invest in new springs and shocks but dont want to lift it.I tow a 2.5 ton trailer which pulls her down a bit now ,can you recomend what make standard height springs front and back also shocks.looked through the magazines but its a bit confusing if you dont want a lift kit and also these: http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/land-rover-discov...

Thanks

Might want to try these guys. Suspect you want a HD spring, but something standard height.

HD springs will probably make it ride worse when unladen though.

There are air bag/spring assister's you can get, which fit inside the spring and you inflate them when laden. Not sure where to get them from though, just know they exist.

If your trailer is dragging the back end down, you're either loading the trailer incorrectly or need an adjustable drop-plate.

...But if you're happy with the ride height, just replace like with like.

I've got HD rears on my RRC which didn't lift it, but it's also got a working Boge self levelling unit & a Dixon-Bate towing bracket which is obviously height adjustable.
Might be an idea to check the noseweight of your trailer.
