VANTAGE Multimedia Module (sat nav)

Hi all.

Had the bad news that I have a faulty MULTIMEDIA MODULE which I believe is the module that is on the Sat Nav system that is needed to talk to the rest of the system. Apparently it cannot be bypassed and so I need a new one in order to stop the stereo cutting out every 40 seconds!!!

The problem is it costs £2040 inc VAT for the unit and there are no spare ones around, I have checked. Even the one on Aston Bits has gone. SO I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this problem or if anyone had upgraded their Sat Nav system and gotten around this unit or swapped it for something else that worked??

Thanks matey, I have emailed him although he is the opposite end of the country in Newcastle! But he may be able to shed some light on it.

Anyone had this issue or an answer please?
