Aerion is no fly by night operation. It's now being backed by Airbus and there are pllenty of orders. I've been working with the guys who are doing much of the design work and it's deadly serious.

It's a very interesting project.

I guess the key is the speed, they are going for mach 1 to 1.5, rather than the mach 2 of Concorde that needed more expensive and exotic material technology and systems.
