I've got a S320 with Brabus front and rear bumpers. Also, the colour is different from the normal black and silvers you usually see.

I'm toying with the idea of removing the Mercedes badge from the front of the bonnet and replacing with a normal flat Mercedes badge. I think it'll fit with the slightly sportier look of the car.

What do you guys think? To be fair, the replacement badge is only £12 and can be swapped out easily if I don't like it.

It's your choice but I wouldn't, personally. I think that the upright 3-pointed star suits the S-Class much better than a flat badge.

Great looking car BTW.

Cheers.

I was in two minds, that's why I put the post up. I think I'm with you that the star does suit the S class.

No problem.

I don't like the fact that the current C and E Class are no longer available in the UK with the traditional star and grill arrangement (despite buyers in other markets being given the choice). My uncle recently replaced his W211 with a facelifted W212 with the big sports grille and centrally mounted logo and IMO it does not look right on the car. Perhaps with the exception of the AMG models, I think all Mercedes saloons look better with the upright 3-pointed star.
