Can anyone recommend a loyalty card scheme for a small/micro retail business?

I've been introduced to one scheme, but there is a monthly payment charge for the software, which unfortunately makes it uneconomical for us.

Any recommendations or advice would be much appreciated!

My local coffee shop used printed pieces of paper with twee designs and clips out sections to build toward a free coffee.

Almost cost free

Why not simply use a printed card which needs to be stamped/ validated with each purchase. After ten/twenty or whatever stamps the card is full, the earned discount is applied and a new discount card offered to the satisfied customer.

Car should cost pennies and the stamp only a bit more.

Add up all the completed/returned loyalty cards at the end of the week and you will see just what the promotion has cost you, how many regular customers you have etc etc.

Keep it as simple as possible and it will work and it will be cheap.

My local garage does this for LPG ( 1 p off each litre for 10 visits, the card has ten spaces on it) and I'm completely hooked.

Cheers,

Tony.
