intermitant noise

ok, i'm woried , the only way i can describe it is the noise you get when you really labor the engine, (like 1200rpm in 5th an floor it) i did have to put normal octain fuel in last week and havn't filled up since, the noise goes past 3000rpm, hope this made sence as i'm a little hungover

Can't help on the noise but I run mine on 95 ron unleaded most of time so can't imagine it's down to the fuel.

1200 in 5th it will probabily be pinking then

Where's the noise coming from. Could easily be metal on metal vibration if you've caught the exhaust, etc. on a speed bump, etc. Had that on the Cerby, and it just took a swift, judicious blow with a lump hammer to cure.
