On-one Pickenflicking

I thinking of buying an ON-One Pickenflick with SRAM Force CX-1 for Winter Road riding and exploring the countless New Forest gravel tracks that I pass on my road bike. Does anyone have one?

There is choice of wheelsets, namely Fulcrum Racing Sport Disc Clincher or WTB ST I19 TCS Rim On Selcof Comp Disc Hubs, am I right in thinking that the ETB wheels are a better choice for mixed riding and the Fulcrum wheels are more aimed at commuting/road use.

Lastly in true PH style is there any other bikes I should consider?

I had a Pickenflick CX1 very briefly, they're a great bike, but being 5ft 7in I found even the smallest size too big, so just be aware if you're quite short. Otherwise the bike was brilliant & you cant beat a ti frame. I can't comment on the wheels though as they weren't the wheels I had.

I cannot comment on the bike as not tested one but was interested in buying one last year, went with a Felt FX4 in the end as it was available. You will not regret getting a cross bike, ridden a few trails in the New Forrest and it is great fun when the weather turns bad. You will be surprised how capable they are, can take mine anywhere I go on my MTN Bike other than a purpose built course.

Nearly puled the trigger then, would have saved £280. Then I realised I have a nearly new X bike in the garage.
