Painting fuel rail/TBS/cam covers

I am assuming they are all aluminium? Is there any special paint/prep required?

I have a chianti starmist.. Any thoughts on colour? Currently black but it seems a bit boring..

I had my cam covers highly polished, I am very happy with the result.

I had my cam covers and fuel rail powder coated in as near to Moonraker Black as I could.

Very pleased with the result.

Choosing a colour is hard.. Might even just end up going boring gunmetal.. Although something bright would be cool! Just not sure what goes with Chianti starmist!
