Easter Funday is yonks away, anyone Notts/Derby area fancy a drive out and pub lunch some weekend soon?

Come on Emma, lets get that new Corrado out on a run.

Peak district would be good.

Sounds like a plan. Any thoughts on dates etc?

Great idea Warren! I'm hoping that the Corrado will be ready to pick up next weekend. If not, I'll collect her on the 5th March. I am in Rotherham for a wedding on 26/27 February and have visitors on 12/13/19 March and it is V-Max on 20th. So, Sunday 6th could be a good date.

Sunday the 6th is mothers day, most pubs will be far busier than usual for lunch, we may struggle to get seated. Any other dates?

I will think of a starting point and a finishing point (suggestions welcome) and a little route, but I wont be planning some sort of huge military operation with tulip maps and stuff though.

Well, that leaves me just:

Sunday 20th February (too short notice, for others, perhaps??? And I may not have the Corrado).

Sunday 27th is Easter Sunday.

It looks like I may have to miss this one

We could also have a run out on April 3rd, after our night out too.

What about joining up with this?

Its actually very close from Derby/Nottingham. For me its about 45 minutes on some great roads across Derbyshire into Cheshire.

I have done the Romper run a few times, the noise in the airport tunnels is fab.

Sorry, but I can't make the Romper Run as I'm at a wedding that weekend. So, that just leaves me with the 6th March and 2nd April as options.

This romper run is too short notice for me the wife has to get the day off either to look after kiddies or come with me.
It's a good idea though and I am up for one anytime afer the easter thai do

Damn! I keep forgetting the 6th is Mother's Day. Should we, perhaps, organise a blast out for Sunday 3rd April, as most people should be around after the Thai night?

I reckon so Emma, this one is proving hard to nail down. I will be up at the Romper next Sunday, who else is coming?

Perhaps I will post a general concensus on the Funday thread.
