Runkeeper App Any Alternatives?
Discussion
Been using the Runkeeper app to map my runs/walks for the last 4 years on and off on my phones (Galaxy S2 and S3) since ive had it on my Note 3 for the last couple of months it struggles to get a lock on my location. Never had this issue before and i have tried google maps at the same time and that can generally get my position without an issue, so im thinking that its Runkeeper thats playing up.....
I suppose my actual question is....... anyone using another app that they could recommend using on my phone that can map my walks/runs and is like runkeeper so i can see any improvements

I'm a fan of Strava - it works better with my sony phone than it did with my previous Nexus strangely.
Its social - and can link with FB if thats your preferance. It tracks speed and altitude, and compares your runs if you run the same route.
Also it compares anyone who has logged a short part of runs you do, that means anyone who has strava so strangers.

Another one for Strava. I used it originally for my cycling but it works great with running too. Its social - and can link with FB if thats your preferance. It tracks speed and altitude, and compares your runs if you run the same route.

MapMyFittness does all that strava and runkeeper do + lots of other things.
I run, cycle, hike and do gym work so I needed something that covered all activities and it does very well.
links in with HR monitors and other external apps and software
